Dr Carol Granston

Pro-Registrar

Council at its 47th meeting in December 2015 announced the appointment of Dr Carol Granston as Pro-Registrar, Dr Granston had been acting in this position since April 2014. She joined the staff of Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®) as Senior Assistant Registrar, Syllabus and Curriculum Development Unit in July 2010 and is based at Western Zone Office (WZO) in Jamaica.

As Pro-Registrar, Dr Granston’s responsibilities include the management of the Council’s property and of all aspects of work undertaken at the Western Zone Office (WZO), including the servicing of the Schools’ Examinations Committee (SEC) and its Sub-Committee (SUBSEC), and the work of the National Committees established in
the Participating Territories.

Dr Granston, is an Education technology specialist and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of South Florida.She joined the Caribbean Examinations Council® (CXC®) in July 2010 and is based at the Western Zone Office (WZO) in Jamaica.
