Mrs Armstrong-Mullah joined the staff of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®) in December 2012 as Senior Assistant Registrar – Finance and Office Management and is responsible for the operational oversight and logistical streams of the Division. This function includes maintaining the day-to-day financial controls of the Council’s assets, financial planning and development, including monitoring of the budget and overall management and delivery of the financial aspects of the business and developmental plans.
She has a varied background, having worked in the finance, banking and telecommunications sectors in both private and public corporations. She has implemented updated procedures to govern fundamental aspects of the Financial Accounting Department in response to new standards and has also defined and championed implementation of new processes during systems changes.
Mrs Armstrong-Mullah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados and holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.
