Q: Who or what is the CXC Local Registrar?

A: The CXC Local Registrar is an official of the Ministry of Education (Overseas Examinations Commission in the case of Jamaica) who is responsible for handling the day-to-day activities relating to the security and administration of the Council’s examination in each territory. The Office of the CXC Local Registrar is usually located in the Examinations Section of the Ministry of Education (Overseas Examinations Commission in the case of Jamaica).
