Staff of the Caribbean Examinations Council donned their annual pink-colored shirts to participate in the 5K walk and run for the cure as an initiative of the Breast Cancer Society of Barbados. More than 60 staff members, family and friends, joined over 18,000 participants who registered for the event which took place on Sunday 2 October 2016.

Staff were pleased for the opportunity to show their mettle, as they challenged each other and their stop watches from start to finish.

An invigorating and worthwhile activity.

Cleveland Sam, our lone runner, did an excellent time of 26:06 for the 5K run which has earned him special mention.

Staff at Headquarters had their Day with a Difference on Friday 31 October with a series of enjoyable activities. It started with a breakfast at Headquarters, followed by a catamaran sail along the south and west coast, and ended with a treasure hunt and karaoke. Several members of staff took home great prizes at the end of the day.
