CPEA Training in Jamaica

CPEA Training in Jamaica

Teachers from three schools in Jamaica will benefit from a one-day training workshop to be held at the Boys’ Town Primary on Friday 1 July. The training will focus on the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) methodology, and will involve teachers from Boys’ Town Primary, Trench Town Primary, and Greenwich Town Primary schools. The one-day workshop will be facilitated by Dr Annette Piper and Mrs Norlette Yearde, of the Syllabus and Curriculum Division, located at the Western Zone Office in Jamaica.

The CPEA is an assessment geared at transitioning learners from primary to secondary school and focuses on mathematical, language, scientific and civic literacies.
