CXC Presenting at Performing Arts Conference at UWI

CXC will be presenting two sessions at the Inaugural CSEC and CAPE Theatre and Performing Arts Conference slated for the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination, UWI Cave Hill Campus from 4-6 April. The theme of the conference is “Pedagogy and Research Teaching CSEC and CAPE Performing Arts.”

James Young, Assistant Registrar, Measurement and Evaluation will present a session entitled, “The ‘Arts’ through the Years: Candidate Performance in CSEC and CAPE ‘Arts’ Examinations.”

Mr Young will also conduct an Item Writing Workshop for the Performing Arts: Theatre Arts and Music as part of CXC’s contribution to the inaugural conference.

Participants at the conference are expected to be teachers of CSEC Theatre Arts and Music, and CAPE Performing Arts, and are expected from CXC Participating Territories including Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and St Maarten.
