CXC Represented at CSRF-V

CXC was represented at the Fifth Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum (CSEF V) under the theme “Future Energy, 2027” held in the Bahamas 23 – 25 January. Alsian Brown-Perry, Assistant Registrar – Syllabus and Curriculum Development represented CXC at the CARICOM-sponsored meeting.

The thrust of the Forum was to reach consensus on what stakeholders are prepared to do to further define and support the long-term (2027) Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy (C-SERMS) targets. CXC is a member of the Capacity Building and Research Thematic Working Group (TWG) of the C-SERMS Platform, and the group held its second meeting during the forum.

CXC launched Green Engineering at the CAPE level last July and the first examination in the new subject will be offered in May/June 2017.
