The two most recent Let’s Talk social media programme featured educators from hurricane-affected CXC Participating Countries, British Virgin Islands and Dominica. Dr Marcia Potter, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education in the BVI spoke about the efforts the territory is making to restart school on a shift system using an alternative location for the Elmore Stoutt Secondary School.
Ms Magalie Celestine, the CXC Local Registrar in Dominica also spoke about the efforts of the Ministry of Education in Dominica to restart school. She explained that in some instances tents are being set up to host classes.
