Syllabus and Curriculum Officers from the West Zone Office in Jamaica were busy during the month of May conducting orientation workshops throughout the region.
Barbados
Teacher Orientation Workshops were held in Barbados on 3 and 4 May for CAPE Literatures in English and CSEC Business cognate – Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Economics. The workshops were conducted by Mrs Alsian Brown-Perry, Assistant Registrar, Syllabus and Curriculum Development Division.
Jamaica
Teacher Orientation Workshops were held on 18 and 19 May in Jamaica for CAPE Literatures in English and CSEC Business cognate – Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Economics. The workshops were facilitated by Assistant Registrars, Assistant Registrar, Syllabus and Curriculum Development Division, Dr Annette Piper and Mrs Norlette Yearde
Trinidad and Tobago
Teacher Orientation Workshops were held in Trinidad and Tobago on 23 and 24 May CAPE Literatures in English and CSEC Business cognate – Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Economics. Dr Annette Piper, Assistant Registrar, Syllabus and Curriculum Development Division facilitated the workshops in Trinidad and Tobago.
Antigua and Barbuda
Teacher Orientation Workshops were held in Antigua and Barbuda on 31 May and 1 June for CAPE Literatures in English and CSEC Business cognate – Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Economics. Teachers from schools in the Leeward Islands participated in this workshop, which was facilitated by Ms Jodine Williams, Assistant Registrar, Syllabus and Curriculum Development Division.
