Mr Keone James was appointed as Senior Manager, IT Operations, ITS Division, effective January 5, 2026, to lead a team of Infrastructure, security, and database professionals in Barbados and Jamaica, which support the Council’s technology infrastructure and production applications. Under his leadership, this team facilitates a secure and stable environment for CXC’s corporate information and communication technology. Keone has worked in the field of IT Management for over twenty years, with extensive experience in digital transformation, infrastructure management, and IT security. During his career, he has participated in several regional and governmental projects/assignments.
Keone holds a Master of Science in Information and Knowledge Management with a Distinction from Loughborough University, a Mini MBA in Artificial Intelligence – Rutgers Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Management, First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. His professional certifications include IT Project Management, IT Service Management, Business Continuity, Risk Management, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and Virtual Infrastructure Management, and Cybersecurity.
