Registrar delivers Barbados Museum lecture

Image courtesy of BarbadosTodayRegistrar of the Caribbean Examinations Council, Mr Glenroy Cumberbatch delivered the Barbados Museum and Historical Society lecture on Tuesday 11 April at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed in Bridgetown.

The Registrar’s lecture was entitled “Challenges and Contributions of the Caribbean Examinations Council”.

During the lecture, the Registrar took the audience through a journey, starting with the idea of a Caribbean Examinations body as articulated by the late Dr Eric Williams to the present. In his lecture, the Registrar paid tribute to some of the early pioneers and highlighted significant milestones of the Council over the last 45 years as well as CXC’s contribution to the region in many different ways, not the least was its impact on regional integration.
