The Sub-Committee of the School Examinations Committee (SUBSEC) has approved the concept paper for the development of syllabuses for two new subjects, one for the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) and one for the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC).

The new CAPE subject approved is Design Technology, while for CCSLC the new subject is Digital Literacy.

SUBSEC approved the concept paper for the development of the new subjects during its meeting on Wednesday 12 October.
